Paradise Park Movie Night

Recently NEST! was able to encourage more people to visit the park when they held a movie night at Paradise Park. "Furry Vengeance" was shown on a projection screen when it began to get dark. Members claim that it was an amazing turnout. Aside from the comical movie, many of the town citizens showed up to watch the show. NEST! plans to hold more of these types of events to further encourage families to get involved in the environment!

2015 NJ Bluebird Festival
Saturday May 3, 2014 from 8 AM - 4 PM
We are hosting a NJ Bluebird Festival on May 3rd, 2014 in Plumsted Township from 8am-4pm continuing our tradition of hosting a canoe/kayak naturalist guided tour on the Crosswicks Creek is a "Birding by Boat" component of the festival. Ocean County Parks is providing us with staff and boats to make this a welcome addition to the other festivities. This event has a vendor/market center. In addition to vendors we will have a lecture series of talks on bluebird habitat and bluebird ecology.
